ConnectLife is WNY's only community blood bank and federally designated not-for-profit organ procurement organization. ConnectLife helps save and heal lives through organ, eye, tissue, birth tissue, and blood donation. More people are awaiting a kidney transplant than any other organ! We're glad to join our partners at the Kidney Foundation of WNY in honoring organ donors and celebrating the life they make possible. 

The Kidney Foundation of WNY uses proceeds from the Walk for Kidney Health to finance a variety of patient support services and kidney health education programs throughout our eight-county service area. Patient assistance takes the form of rides to dialysis treatment, nutritional supplements, help purchasing medications and specialized equipment and more. The Kidney Foundation also offers free screenings, provides patient and professional education, shares information about disease progression and treatment options, and highlights the lifesaving power of transplantation.
